Nathaniels (1) wife Abigail (Nababy) Scribner is sister to Alice, wife of Aabraham, his brother.
Nathanniel settled in harrison Maine on a farm situated on the beaautiful eminence known as Scribners HIll, formerly called Burnhamms Hill.
He was one of the first settlers in town, and was selectman for many years. The father of 9 children. It is said he loved to work so well that when thristy, he would run to the spring and back to his field again. He and his two wives & are all buried on Burnhams Hill.
