Source 1: IGI: Film: 1761161 & 2034664; This source calls John Warners wife Margaret Early or Howard, most likely Howard; (This is not proven;) However, in researching her as possibly being Margaret Howard, we have found the following sources:
Source 2: Early Connecticut Probate Records, Vol1: Will of Mrs Frances Kilburn of Wethersfiedl, Hartford, Conn; taken 30 Dec 1650; She gives daughter Margaret, wife of Richard Law; I give daughter Lydia, wife of Robert Howard; Gives to Mary, wife of John Root; A Lydia Kilbourn married a Robert Howard Prior to 1650; (This proves that their were Howards in the area of Hartford Co. where our family was located; Our family was in Farmington, Hartford, Conn. Margaret Howard if that is her name, could be related to the Lydia Kilburn & Robert Howard named in this will;)
Source: Genealogical Dictionary of Early Settlers of New England: Robert Howard of Windsor, a miller, married Lydia, daughter of the first Thomas Kinborne, had (lists children) first one being born Tabitha B: 1 Jan 1647; (This child is of the same time frame as our Mrs John Warner, who may be Margaret Howard) Could Margaret Howard be a child of a brother to this Robert Howard? Who is the father of Robert Howard?
Source 3: Genealogical Dictionary of Early Settlers of New England: Robert Howard of Windsor, a miller, married Lydia, daughter of the first Thomas Kinborne, had (lists children) first one being born Tabitha B: 1 Jan 1647; (This child is of the same time frame as our Mrs John Warner, who may be Margaret Howard) Could Margaret Howard be a child of a brother to this Robert Howard? Who is the father of Robert Howard?
Source 4: New England Marriages: Mary Kilbourn b: 1619 & Married John Root about 1640 of Farmington, Hartford, Connecticut; (This Mary must be daughter of Thomas Kilborne & Mrs Frances Kilburn of Wethersfield, Hartford, Conn; & mentioned in the will of mother Mrs Frances Kilburn of Wethersfield, above stated; The sister Lydia must have been born in the 1620 range also & her husband the Robert Howard born about then also; Again making it possible that the Margaret Howard (that we think may be the wife of our John Warner born about 1646) as stated before, is a daughter of a brother to the Robert Howard; who married to Lydia Kilbourn; (She could be a daughter, because he had 3 other girls who mostly died young; We need to find a will for Robert Howard;
Her Father could be Henry Howard or Hayward who married Sarah Stone about 28 Sep 1648 Hartford, Co. Connecticut; He died 1669; His wife was still living in 1716
Mrs John Warner, who may be Margaret Howard, names a child Robert, Ephraim & Lydia; This could be a clue which ties the Robert Howard to our Margaret (if that is her name;)
