Census: Joel Burnham, age 58 & born in Vermont; Sarah, wife, age 55 & born in New York; Francis, age 32, a farm laborer & born in New York; Charles, age 29, a farm laborer and born in New York; Angilline, age 23 and born in Ohio; Josiph (Josiphine) age 21, and born in Ohio; Joel, age 18, a farm laborer and born in Ohio Eathin, (ephraim?) age 14 & born in Ohio; Ora, age 14 & born in Ohio;

Source 4: 1870 Jackson, Monroe, Missouri census pg: 562 for Joseph Gillett, (his faather-in-law);
Census: Joseph Gillett, age 58, farmer, born New York; Candice, his wife, age 51, keeping house and born in New York; Caroline, age 25, keeping house & born in Ohiop byron B>, age 1 & born in Missouri. (Caroline & son George are listed here with her father; Francis is not listed on the census-is it an oversight of the census keeper, -if not, where is he?)

Byron B. Burnham, age 11, Born in Missouri; Arthur L. Burnham, age 7 Born in Iowa; Nora, age 6 born in Iowa; Mirtie, age 2, Born in Iowa; The census record indicates that Caroline Gillett says here mother & father are were both born in Connecticut;

Caine, age 44, a boarder, born February 1855 in Ohio; Francis owned his house, It was free of mortage; It was listed as a farm. The census reported that Francis Burnhams parents were both born in New York; Carries parents were both born in Ohio;
Daughter LaNora is married 1 year; (Her husband is not here)

Census: Francis R. Burnham, age 81, He has been married : 61 years, He was Born in New York; His Father was Born in Vermont & his mother was born in New York; He ownes his farm, free and clear of any mortage.
Caroline J, his wife, age 65, is married : 41 yrs?, She is the Mother of 5 children who are all living. She was born in Ohio; Her mother was born in New York; Her father was born in New York; George, a son, age 22, single and was born in Iowa; His occupation is a sheep herder. (An age discrepancy is found between his actual birth certificate and the date of his birth as reported on this census report. discrepancies are not unusual on census reports!)
